still the avid gamer. Am now able to cook by GUESSWORK :P I still love to draw. But now I'm just a little wiser. I have an absolute penchant for nail lacquer (collection almost 60 bottles now). Just blurbs more than anything. And little notes/quotes I write down on my "little notebook". <3

Kept reading the thing and just focused on some points that felt pretty poignant for something which revolves on a fighting game. (some little ironic thing)

Girl gamers (Just to set aside a portion of the community and not intended for girl power blahblahs). For one. I think it’s quite agreeable that we do not look for cuddling and sweet talks. One’s gender does not dictate one’s skill in a game either. I do commend the girls in the gaming world who carry their own weight and don’t let people be overly rude to them. ( A community will never be complete without the assholes… its a given)

Point being, a lot of us will find a game that we love and will keep on loving till maybe our fingers can no longer enter the commands. Gamers come from all walks of life, gender, color, culture etc. but we share that love of the game. Something that unites competitive spirits who duke it out.

I hope beyond those frame counts, broken characters, positive/negative frames and all the other technical jargon which, we don’t forget why we even love the game in the first place.

Ps: A lot of awesome things can happen when people are united ^_^ I got to experience my first ever FG event (Labanparooza) ^_^ I made new connections and all. I just love the vibe and how people really do wanna help out ^_^ congratulations again P2D, TXO and BBPH!!!!! <3 I hope more people can go the next time the event is conducted. I just enjoyed it soooo much :)

I am unable to go back to sleep again.. DARN it!

I am reading a lot of stuff just so I will not feel too deprived and be pissed off. Then again I think many of the things I’m reading are warranting a tone of disagreement.

There are a lot of things to have points of advocacy. It does not necessitate that we all agree on the expressed point, but what happens to ones point?

Many of the things I’m reading right now is making me reserve my own opinion. Sometimes, having an opposing opinion may mean social suicide.

Mood: Game mode on ^_^

So it’s valentines today ^_^ feels like any other ordinary day really.

Soooo I’m very lucky to have ended up going to CBF in January and be made aware about this existence of the scene here. I have seen some Dota and SC2 events but never a fighting games event (^_^).

Some part of my childhood reawakened because I used to be the practice dummy in SF for SNES because there wasn’t really a training mode back then. Meh :3

I wish the days would go faster so I actually get to meet the people who organized this ^_^ As always, I am ever a spoiled one :p
